Former President Donald Trump won the Iowa Caucuses in a landslide on Monday night with regime darling Nikki Haley coming in third. With over 95% of votes counted as of Tuesday morning, Trump has 51% of the vote, Ron DeSantis has 21.2%, Haley has 19.1% and Vivek Ramaswamy has 7.7%. Had Haley or DeSantis dropped out of the race and urged their voters to coalesce against Trump, they still would have come up short by 11%. DeSantis will likely be the hardest hit as he had a lot of goodwill from Trump supporters which he squandered by running against him to please his wealthy donors. From Des Moines Register: The Associated Press called the race for Trump just 31 minutes after caucusing began at 7 p.m. and while many sites were still casting ballots, rankling campaign officials and many Republicans.Vivek Ramaswamy dropped out of the race after placing fourth and endorsed Donald Trump. "This entire campaign is about speaking the TRUTH," Ramaswamy said. "We did not achieve our goal tonight & we need an America-First patriot in the White House. The people spoke loud & clear about who they want. Tonight I am suspending my campaign and endorsing Donald J. Trump and will do everything I can to make sure he is the next U.S. President. I am enormously proud of this team, this movement, and our country."
