The hits just keep on coming in this case out of Denver where police were filmed beating a drug suspect and tripping his pregnant girlfriend to the ground belly-first. First, the police allegedly deleted a witnesses' video of the assault, it was only recovered and later posted to YouTube after the witness who filmed it was able to get a backup of the video through the cloud. Next, it came out the officer who did the beating received a promotion, despite the disturbing video going mega-viral, with the police chief saying he saw no reason not to promote him. Now, the latest is the witness who filmed the incident, Levi Frasier, has been arrested and sent to jail after an undercover cop pulled him over for having "expired tags," then arrested him citing a "newly activated traffic warrant" which alleges he failed to appear in court months ago over two traffic tickets, failed to have proof of insurance, and lacked vehicle registration. Frasier was not permitted to immediately bond out over the petty charges and was forced to spend the night in prison. Frasier said of the arrest he is either "the unluckiest man in the world" or he's being targeted by police to send a message. |
