Elon Musk Changes X Algorithm After Getting Ratioed for Demanding More H-1B Visas

X owner Elon Musk on Friday night announced that he is changing the X algorithm to promote more "informational/entertaining content" and limited replies to his posts to only paying "verified" users.

The announcement came after Musk got repeatedly ratioed for pushing a wildly unpopular mass "legal" immigration agenda, banned a host of Groyper accounts for criticizing him, demonetized critics/removed their blue checkmarks and declared "war" against opponents of H-1B visas.

Because Musk has refused to give Nick Fuentes a "verified" blue checkmark, he is effectively preventing ratios like the one above from his de-blue-checked critics from happening again.

"Algorithm tweak coming soon to promote more informational/entertaining content," Musk said Friday night. "We will publish the changes to @XEng. Our goal is to maximize unregretted user-seconds. Too much negativity is being pushed that technically grows user time, but not unregretted user time."

"We're also working on easy ways for you to adjust the content feed dynamically, so you can have what you want at any given moment," he added.

Now that Trump is about to take office and getting ready to sell out his base on immigration, all the "negativity" mass "legal" replacement migration is going to generate needs to be suppressed somehow.

Of note, Musk retweeted this image after Mike Johnson was re-elected as House Speaker earlier in the day:

With every passing day, it's looking more and more like Musk's "free speech platform" is coming to an end.
