Trump Gives 'Complete and Total Endorsement' to Speaker Mike Johnson

President-elect Donald Trump gave "MAGA" Mike Johnson his "complete and total endorsement" on Monday in a bid to shut down a conservative revolt against his historically terrible speakership.

"The American people need IMMEDIATE relief from all of the destructive policies of the last Administration," Trump wrote at the end of a rambling post on Truth Social. "Speaker Mike Johnson is a good, hard working, religious man. He will do the right thing, and we will continue to WIN. Mike has my Complete & Total Endorsement. MAGA!!!"

As I highlighted in September, Johnson and Democratic House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries reportedly made a private agreement not to disparage one another as they worked in unison to ram through Israel First, America Last legislation.

Johnson opened his speakership by announcing his first priority would be Israel and followed through on his promise by working with Democrats to ram through a wildly unpopular foreign aid bill to give $95 billion to Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan and ban TikTok for allowing criticism of Israel to go viral.

He then worked with Democrats to ram through a wildly unpopular FISA bill to spy on Americans to "protect Israel" as well as another bill to ban criticism of Israel as "hate speech."

Johnson and Jeffries also attended the astroturfed "March for Israel" together in Washington, DC to pledge their allegiance to a foreign power.

Johnson's speakership was unquestionably worse than Kevin McCarthy -- which is saying a lot because he too was absolutely terrible.

That said, Trump picking Johnson is not surprising and he will no doubt fit right in with the rest of Trump's administration.

While on the campaign trail, Trump pledged that he would give the Israel Lobby total power over Congress if reelected.

After winning the election and revealing he would be filling his cabinet with pro-Israel war hawks, Trump also pushed for Brian Mast -- the Israel First rep who wears his Israel Defense Forces uniform to Congress -- to become the next chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Though the MAGA base staged a revolt last week over junior president Elon Musk's plan to "double" H-1B visas, Trump on Sunday came out to endorse H-1B visas as "great" and insist he uses them on his properties and has "always been in favor of [them]."
