Hezbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah reportedly delivered an ultimatum to the US demanding that Israel agree to a ceasefire in Gaza by Friday or else he will announce "a general mobilization of Shia units for war with Israel and will launch military operations against Israel from all directions."

From TASS, "Hezbollah to mobilize fighters for war against Israel unless there is ceasefire in Gaza":
Leader of the Shia party Hezbollah Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah has through mediators given an ultimatum to the US, demanding an end to Israel's military operation in Gaza by November 3, Kuwait's Al-Jarida newspaper reports, citing Iranian diplomatic sources.

According to the sources, if the US fails to meet this demand, in his Friday televised address, Sheikh Nasrullah will announce "a general mobilization of Shia units for war with Israel and will launch military operations against Israel from all directions."

Al-Jarida notes that the Hezbollah leader agreed the ultimatum with Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards' Quds Force, who arrived in the Lebanese capital of Beirut on Tuesday.

According to the newspaper's sources, General Qaani stated earlier at a meeting of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council that Tehran's regional allies might lose popular support if they failed "to join the fight to support the Palestinian people."
Hezbollah has been hyping Nasrallah's speech for days.

Joe Biden voiced support for a "pause" on Thursday under questioning from a transgender rabbi.

I suspect this is intentional to make war opponents look like clowns.

Biden reportedly told the trans rabbi: "I think we need a pause. A pause means give time to get the prisoners out ... I'm the guy that convinced Bibi (Netanyahu) to call for a ceasefire to let the prisoners out. I'm the guy that talked to (Egyptian President) Sisi to convince him to open the door."

"White House officials later clarified that the Biden administration did not support a full ceasefire, but would press for temporary, localised pauses in fighting to allow the aid and release of hostages," Al Jazeera reported.

Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari said Thursday that "Israeli soldiers have completed the encirclement of the city of Gaza" and a "ceasefire is not currently on the table at all."

A recent poll found the majority of Americans support a ceasefire in Gaza but so far the only Senator to call for a ceasefire is Dick Durban.
