The ancient Saint Porphyrius Orthodox Church in Gaza was reportedly damaged in a deadly Israeli airstrike that struck an adjacent building, destroyed the Church's assembly hall and killed Christians and Muslim refugees who had taken shelter in the Church's compound.

From AFP: Witnesses said the strike damaged the facade of the church and caused an adjacent building to collapse, adding that many injured people were evacuated to hospital."A church was built on the site as early as 425 [AD], but the construction of the current church was undertaken by the Crusaders in the 1150s or 1160s; they dedicated it St Porphyrius," Wikipedia states. I can't help but notice this strike came after Amir Weitmann of Israel's ruling Likud Party threatened Orthodox Christian Russia that Israel will come after them next once their war with Gaza is over. Shortly before the war broke out, video after video went viral on social media of Israelis spitting on Christians and abusing them for preaching the Gospel.
