Norm Macdonald, the greatest comedian of all time, died Tuesday after a "nine-year private battle with cancer."

From Deadline, "Norm Macdonald Dies: Influential Comedian & Former 'SNL' Weekend Update Anchor Was 61":
Norm Macdonald, whose laconic delivery of sharp and incisive observations made him one of Saturday Night Live's most influential and beloved cast members, died today after a nine-year private battle with cancer. He was 61.

Macdonald's death was announced to Deadline by his management firm Brillstein Entertainment. The comedian's longtime producing partner and friend Lori Jo Hoekstra, who was with him when died, said Macdonald had been battling cancer for nearly a decade but was determined to keep his health struggles private, away from family, friends and fans.

"He was most proud of his comedy," Hoekstra said. "He never wanted the diagnosis to affect the way the audience or any of his loved ones saw him. Norm was a pure comic. He once wrote that 'a joke should catch someone by surprise, it should never pander.' He certainly never pandered. Norm will be missed terribly."
Norm had a bunch of jokes about cancer:

He said before how he respects people who keep their cancer diagnoses secret.

Norm mocked the idea that Jan 6 was "violent terrorists" staging an insurrection on the day of the event (he later deleted the tweet).

He also mocked anti-whites:

He was an unapologetic Christian who stood up for Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

He was blacklisted from Hollywood and officially "canceled" by Jimmy Fallon and his paymasters back in 2018 for mocking the #MeToo movement.

Though he did offer up an apology (as a polite Canadian), he continued to relentlessly mock woke culture.

Despite being blacklisted from Hollywood in favor of unfunny shills like Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert, he went ahead and hosted his own show on YouTube which always delivered.

Norm's freewheeling co-hosting of the YouTube Awards in 2014 was one of the funniest performances I've ever seen in my life.

You can watch tons of his greatest hits on the ImNotNorm YouTube channel.

Rest in peace, Norm Macdonald.

For a man with such a "filthy, dirty mouth," you were truly a class act!
