Federal investigators together with state and local law enforcement spent hundreds of hours investigating Althea Bernstein's claim she was attacked by four racist white men and found no evidence to back her story up but tons to suggest she lied about the attack. Rather than charge Bernstein for wasting hundreds of police man-hours which could have been spent tackling the Black Lives Matter crime wave the feds are simply dropping the case. This is what real "privilege" looks like.
From the AP, "Prosecutors: Not enough evidence to prove Wisconsin attack": Detectives were unable to find any surveillance video that shows the alleged attack taking place, but they did find footage indicating [Althea Bernstein] wasn't in the city at the time she says she was attacked, according to investigative reports. [...] Madison police on Friday released more than 150 pages of reports detailing the investigation. Traffic and surveillance camera footage shows Bernstein’s vehicle stopped only once and that no one was around the car. The footage also shows that her window was closed throughout and that she was traveling in the right lane, not the left as she told investigators. What a joke. Here's the full report. She should be criminally charged and thrown in prison for this hoax. Instead, in a few years she will be canonized as a victim of white racism just like Mike Brown.
