VIDEO: Young Boy Attacked On School Bus For Wearing MAGA Hat, Hospitalized With Head Injuries

Video was released Thursday of a young schoolboy on a bus in Hamilton County, Florida being attacked by five African-American classmates in what his mother says was a "hate crime."

"I am sitting in the hospital with my 14 year old kid because he was just jumped by 8 black kids on the school bus, I guess that's what happens when a kid wears a #Trump hat to school," the boy's mother wrote Nov 21 on Twitter, the day the attack occurred. "And who's the violent ones again? Earlier today they poured milk all over his head."

"My attorney [Foye B. Walker] said it's okay to release the video, 😡warning graphic 😡 keep in mind this is only the first 21 seconds of the video...please RT to have these two girls and 3 boys held accountable," she said Thursday in a follow-up tweet.


His mother said he was attacked relentlessly after he first wore his Trump hat to school.

'He was proud to wear [his Trump hat]. He wore it to School, but due to immediate bullying he put it away & didn't wear it to school again, sadly the damage was already done & [he] was now a target,' she said.

'From that point on he was steadily getting messed with. He was getting hit, tripped & verbally abused on the bus, but it all came to a head yesterday on his bus ride home,' she continued.

She said that when Tyler was examined after the school, nurses found older bruising along with the new injuries. 'He didn't tell us about the bullying, but they took it to a new level yesterday and we are just now learning what he was going through,' she said.

Video of the attack shows at least three females and two males raining blows down on Tyler's head as he tries to protect himself from the attack.

Tyler's mother says she believes the assault was racially motivated. Tyler is white, and the assailants appear to be black.

'Plain and simple this was a hate crime and attempted murder according to the state of Florida since it was over three kids that jumped him and these kids are older and larger,' the mother tweeted.

She said that she had contacted the police and the school district, and that the children involved had been suspended from school.
The boy's mother said last week that police are "not considering it a hate crime because everyone that jumped on him were related."

"Yeah, I don't get it either," she said. "So if 5 white kids, all related, jumped a black child, no one would be screaming #HateCrime??? Double standards."



Though video of the assault has gone mega-viral and racked up over 2 million views on Twitter alone, almost no major US media outlets decided to report on it.

Another shocking case out of Kansas last month where a young white boy had a gun shoved in his face by high school thugs threatening to kill him while robbing him and screaming racial slurs at him was similarly ignored.



Meanwhile, earlier this year a hoax story about a black girl allegedly getting "pinned down" by "three white students" in Virginia who "cut off her dreadlocks" made national and international news.


I wonder why that is?
