Tommy Robinson Arrested While Covering Grooming Gang Trial, UK Gov Silences Press With Gag Order

British activist Tommy Robinson was arrested Friday morning outside a courthouse for "breach of the peace" for livestreaming the court cases of ten men accused of participating in "child grooming gangs," aka child rape gangs.

English Defence League founder Tommy Robinson claimed he was arrested for breach of the peace outside a courthouse in Leeds.

The right wing activist was streaming a Facebook live video outside Leeds Crown Court, where a grooming trial is reportedly underway, on Friday morning.

Robinson, real name Stephen Lennon, can be seen being led towards the back of a police van and searched in footage posted to his Facebook page.

He can be heard saying: "I'm being arrested? I am being arrested...I'm 'causing a breach of peace'...I'm being arrested for breaching the peace.

...Officers can be seen leading Mr Robinson into the back of a police van while reading him his rights.

His supporters said they fear that if he's sent to prison he'll be killed by Muslim gangs:







The British government also reportedly issued a gag order on the case forcing UK news sites to purge their articles on the incident:
