Fox News host Tucker Carlson continued to question the narrative on Syria on Tuesday by interviewing former UK Ambassador to Syria Peter Ford. Ford told Tucker, "It's not certain by any means that [the attack in Douma] was a chemical attack," citing the work of Robert Fisk and others who visited Douma to investigate. Transcript via The Daily Caller: “There are reports from Western journalists who were in Douhma yesterday, reports that they could find no folks would confirm that there’d been a chemical attack,” Ford said. “They went actually to the hospital where it was–where those videos were filmed, they spoke to doctors, named doctors, so this can be checked, who said that there was no chemical attack.”Senator Rand Paul also questioned the attack, saying: "Either Assad did not carry out the attack, or he is the dumbest dictator on the planet Earth." Tucker also delivered an epic monologue on how leftists would rather risk nuclear war with Russia than admit American voters don't like our "ruling class." Russia has thousands of nuclear bombs which could blow up the entire planet multiple times over. A computer glitch or false alarm has the potential to trigger a nuclear holocaust, but our ruling class couldn't care less. Such a scenario almost happened in 1983 due to a false alarm: Our insane rulers would rather be annihilated in a nuclear holocaust than lose their grip on power.
