A Trump-hating Jewish man has been arrested in New York for allegedly spray-painting swastikas own his own home in a fake hate-crime. 54-year-old Andrew King of Schenectady, New York, who is Jewish, had publicly blamed Trump and his supporters for the graffiti. From NEWS10: SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A Schenectady man, who claimed someone spray painted swastikas on his home, has been arrested in the crime.
Here's what King told the media back in February: "Just a vein of fear went right through me," King had told the Gazette. "All that history attached to that Nazi symbol.""People use a lot of excuses, and they lack civility, by using Mr. Trump," King said. King is reportedly claiming police assaulted him, but as you can see in the interview with police above, Sergeant Matt Dearing said "there was no altercation at all with our officers" during his arrest. While Trump and his supporters have been demonized for months on end as being responsible for a wave of anti-Semitic threats directed towards Jews, so far the only actual culprits who have been arrested for these anti-Semitic crimes have been two black men, one for the bomb threats and another for turning a Menorah into a Swastika and now a Jewish guy. Additionally, a group of headstones which were toppled at a Jewish cemetery in Brooklyn reportedly fell "due to poor maintenance, not vandalism" and police say many "had actually been toppled over for years."
