After an Orlando cop said under oath he was unaware of any excessive force complaints against him, a Florida judge halted a drug suspect's trial and demanded the cop be tried for perjury. Judge Jenifer Davis felt all evidence indicated Orlando Police Sergeant Frank Chisari was aware of such complaints against him, and the officer was merely playing "semantic games" by denying such knowledge. The officer, Orlando Police Sergeant Frank Chisari, reportedly later admitted to the judge that "maybe there was a complaint in 2005," WFTV reports. Judge Davis demanded the state's attorney bring perjury charges against the officer and said she will personally follow through on making sure such charges are filed. The Orlando police department "reviewed" the incident and chose not to punish Chisari nor do anything in response. The state's attorney will take up the issue today, hopefully they do follow through and treat this alleged perjurer the same as any other lowly pleb accused of the same crime. In the meantime, the drug suspect was let off after a mistrial was declared.
