![]() Two North Carolina police officers allegedly cited a nonexistent warrant to falsely arrest a man, then proceeded to hold him at gunpoint while the girlfriend of one of the officers robbed his home. Last week I highlighted a report on a Kentucky cop who used a fake warrant to rob a man's home, despite this story being strikingly similar, these are two different incidents. Via WWAY TV. LELAND, NC (WWAY) -- New trouble for the Leland Police Department. One of the accused cops resigned just five days after this suit was made public, he claimed in his resignation letter he quit to further his career. The other officer resigned last year after he was suspended for getting in a fight, a witness said the officer went around with another cop and chose to gang up on up people who were "smaller" than them and did not want to fight, he described the officers as "a total embarrassment to the human race." Sadly, such behavior is par for the course for our uniformed "protectors." _ Chris runs the website InformationLiberation.com, you can read more of his writings here. Follow infolib on twitter here. |
