Remember the story of the Lake County, Florida man who answered his door at 1:30AM with a gun and was shot by deputies who mistakenly went to the wrong house? The deputies said they were looking for an "attempted murder" suspect, though the suspect they were looking for actually lived a few doors down. Well, it turns out the "attempted murder" suspect deputies said they were pursuing was actually a Good Samaritan who tried to stop a fight, and the man's lawyer says the deputies "inflated" the charges against him to try and justify their shooting of his innocent neighbor.
