San Jose voters will get a chance in November decide whether to impose a tax of up to 10 percent on medical cannabis businesses in the city.
The San Jose City Council on Tuesday, with a 7-4 vote, approved a measure that will place the tax on the ballot. If it's approved, it will be the highest medical cannabis tax in the state.

 Former Pennsylvania judge Michael Conahan has pleaded guilty to a racketeering conspiracy charge for helping put juvenile defendants behind bars in exchange for bribes.

"There was a lady here," Paul Lawrence told WCBS, a local TV station. "I asked the lady can I take the air conditioner. She said go ahead take it. It's garbage."
So he took it.
