President-elect Donald Trump has reportedly picked pro-Israel South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem to head the Department of Homeland Security. Earlier this year, Noem boasted about signing the "strongest" hate crime bill in America into law to "stop antisemitism" and "ensure the security of God's chosen people." Noem also humiliatingly had to admit she lied about having "stared down" North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during a meeting (which never took place). From CNN, "First on CNN: Trump picks Kristi Noem to serve as his Homeland Security secretary": President-elect Donald Trump has selected South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem as his next secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, according to two people familiar with the selection. The Wall Street Journal and Reuters are reporting the same. Not even Trump's conservative champions are celebrating this pick.
