Telegram founder Pavel Durov may be banned from leaving France if he's hit with criminal charges, according to the Financial Times. From The Financial Times, "French authorities extend custody of Telegram chief to legal limit": "Investigators must consider they can obtain more information for the investigation or simply put pressure on him" by extending his custody, said a Paris-based lawyer with close knowledge of the process.Today is the cut-off date for the French government to decide whether to charge him as he can only be legally detained for questioning for up to 96 hours.
