BREAKING: Trump Shot in Assassination Attempt at Rally in Pennsylvania [UPDATE: Survives, Shooter Killed]

Former President Donald Trump was shot in an assassination attempt at his rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday evening but is doing "fine" and appears to have survived with only his ear being grazed by a bullet.

Trump could be seen clutching his ear and ducking for covering as rounds were fired and he was swarmed by Secret Service.



After getting shot, Trump could be heard telling Secret Service, "wait, wait" and placing his fist up in defiance to his cheering crowd.



It looks like he was just inches from death.




Here's how CNN reported it:


UPDATE: Musk endorses Trump for President and says he's hoping for "his rapid recovery" (it came out earlier today he made a "sizeable" donation to a pro-Trump super PAC).


UPDATE II: "President Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act. He is fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility. More details will follow," Trump's spokesman Steven Cheung said in a statement.
