In an act of geopolitical brilliance, Nancy Pelosi accused China of sexism and misogyny for objecting to her visit to Taiwan. "They made a big fuss because I'm the Speaker, I guess. I don't know if that was a reason or an excuse because they didn't say anything when the men came," Pelosi said during a press conference with Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen on Wednesday.
Pelosi also took a moment to celebrate how she's "the first woman Speaker of the House meeting the first woman President of Taiwan."
