Former Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer was robbed in Oakland, California on Monday afternoon by a pair of thugs she would only publicly describe as "two young people." "Earlier today former Senator Barbara Boxer was assaulted in the Jack London Square neighborhood of Oakland," Boxer's staff tweeted from her account on Monday. "The assailant pushed her in the back, stole her cell phone and jumped in a waiting car. She is thankful that she was not seriously injured."
"This is a moment we have to come face to face with the truth about what is happening in our nation," Boxer told Spectrum News 1 in April as part of a call for "racial justice." "You know, sometimes I think about it, if I had a black grandchild or a black child, I don't even know I'd let them out the door," Boxer said. "That's how bad it is."
Do these "young people" look like they're afraid to leave their homes out of fear of "white racism" and "racist white police," ma'am?
From The Los Angeles Times, " 'Shocking and so unsuspected': Barbara Boxer assaulted, robbed of cellphone in Oakland": Boxer said she noticed a young man following her out of the corner of her eye but didn't think much of it after he hopped into a car.Why would you assume he doesn't need to steal so he can get bread to feed his family, ma'am? Please check your privilege! Boxer said she was so close to her home that she ran back to her apartment, where she and her husband, Stewart, called the police. She refused to provide any description of the suspects: Boxer said that she did not get a good look at their faces, but her assailants appeared to be young, perhaps teenagers.Suddenly, she's all for police: "To me, it just brings home everything I've worked for," Boxer added. "We need good policing, we need community policing, we need a lot of it and we also need, absolutely, hope and opportunity for young people. These are young people finding they can get a lot of money for this phone, hundreds of dollars for this phone."Yeah, Democrats don't want to defund the police... Here's some pictures/videos of other armed robberies that took place in Oakland over the past few weeks.
If Boxer thinks this is "shocking" and "unexpected" then clearly she has not been paying attention! [Header image by Gage Skidmore, CC BY-SA 2.0] Follow InformationLiberation on Twitter, Facebook, Gab, Minds, Parler and Telegram. |
