Tracey Edwards, a Cuomo appointee to the New York Public Service Commission and regional director of the Long Island NAACP, on Monday visited a new mass vaccination site together with the governor and encouraged New Yorkers to take the coronavirus vaccines without asking what's in them. After lavishing praise on Cuomo for his "leadership," Edwards said that COVID has "devastated" New York and especially "our Black and Brown New Yorkers." "Now, I'm going to tell you a personal story off script," Edwards said. "So, today right after this I am going to have an infusion, and I'm going to have an infusion because I want to make sure that the cancer that was in my body does not return. I'm not asking what's in the infusion, I'm not looking up all of the ingredients in the infusion, I am sticking out my arm and I am taking the infusion -- and that's what we have to do." We must take the vaccine. The vaccine is the weapon that wins the war on COVID, and we need our clergy because as Martin Luther King said, 'religion and science are not competing interests, they are our trusted messengers.' And when your pastor says to do something, you trust your pastor, you trust your doctor. That's what we need to do." As Mark Zuckerberg highlighted in a private meeting with Facebook employees last year, the vaccine is a new and experimental mRNA injection and "we just don't know the long-term side effects of basically modifying people's DNA and RNA."
Zuckerberg later decided to change Facebook's rules to ban anyone who expresses similar doubts. Follow InformationLiberation on Twitter, Facebook, Gab, Minds, Parler and Telegram. |
