Trump: 'What's Taking Place Is Not An Impeachment, It Is A COUP...'

President Donald Trump sent out his best tweet in months on Tuesday night.

"As I learn more and more each day, I am coming to the conclusion that what is taking place is not an impeachment, it is a COUP, intended to take away the Power of the People, their VOTE, their Freedoms, their Second Amendment, Religion, Military, Border Wall, and their God-given rights as a Citizen of The United States of America!" Trump tweeted.

You can't argue with that statement.

Trump openly said on May 24th he wants Barr to look into the origins of the Russia hoax:

"Let me just explain -- let me explain to you something," Trump told reporters. "The Attorney General is one of the most respected people in this country and he has been for a long period of time. He is going to look at a lot of documents. Some he might find interesting; maybe he'll find none interesting."

"But for over a year, people have asked me to declassify. So what I've done is I've declassified everything. He can look. And I hope he looks at the UK, and I hope he looks at Australia, and I hope he looks at Ukraine. I hope he looks at everything, because there was a hoax that was perpetrated on our country. It's the greatest hoax -- It's the greatest hoax, probably, in the history of our country. And somebody has to get to the bottom of it. We'll see. But for a long period of time, they've wanted me to declassify and I did," Trump said.

Sadly, Trump's claim that he has "declassified everything" in relation to the Russia hoax is not true.

He moved to declassify everything but then backed off and changed course and allowed Inspector General Michael Horowitz to screen everything he planned to declassify and make the final call on what to release.

Horowitz stalled for almost an entire year before coming out and exonerating former FBI Director James Comey of any criminal wrongdoing.

I must say, I'm rather shocked it appears that Barr may actually be investigating the origins of the Russia hoax rather than working to cover it all up.

In the same way the Russia hoax was a scam on the part of our intelligence agencies to keep Trump from normalizing relations with Russia, I believe this CIA "whistleblower" is just a scam to shut down Trump's investigation into the origin of the Russia hoax.

I put "whistleblower" in quotes because to be a whistleblower you have to blow the whistle on higher-ups within your own agency. Spying on a president you want to destroy and sharing the details of his calls with foreign leaders is not whistleblowing.

As Caitlin Johnstone commented, "Never call anyone from the CIA a 'whistleblower' unless they are actually whistleblowing on the CIA, without the CIA's permission, in a way that inconveniences the CIA."

As legit CIA whistleblower John Kiriakou (who was thrown in jail and demonized by the media for exposing the CIA's waterboarding torture program) told Tucker Carlson on Monday night, the supposed CIA agent's complaint reads like it "went through layers of editing and coordinating and lawyers were involved and managers were involved."

"It looks like a legal document," Kiriakou said. "It doesn't look like a whistleblower complaint, and that leads me to believe that this whistleblower that we're talking about is just a face of an entire group that's at the CIA that's pushing this forward."

I suspect the CIA, which is secretly listening in on Trump's phone calls, got spooked that Trump could actually be close to exposing the criminal origins of the Russia hoax and that's why they've moved forward with this effort to stop him.

As a reminder, Senator Chuck Schumer openly threatened Trump in Jan 2017, saying on Rachel Maddow's show: "Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you ... From what I've been told, they are very upset with how [Trump] has treated them and talked about them."

Trump could easily fight back against these criminals by declassifying evidence of their crimes. The president has the absolute power to declassify anything for any reason. Why he is choosing not to exercise this power but is instead just complaining about the situation on Twitter is the real question.
