This is a lesson the GOP establishment refuses to learn. Citing the new book "Team of Vipers: My 500 Extraordinary Days in the Trump White House" by former communications staff member Cliff Simms, The Washington Post writes: President Trump watched on television, increasingly angry as House Speaker Paul D. Ryan criticized his handling of the deadly white supremacist rally in Charlottesville. He held the remote control “like a pistol” and yelled for an assistant to get the Republican leader on the phone. Why can't Republicans get this through their thick skulls? Just this week, the entire GOPe rushed to condemn the students of Covington Catholic High School based off an out-of-context 50 second video clip. Two weeks ago, they all rushed to condemn Steve King and strip him of all power based off one alleged quote from an hour-long interview with the New York Times which was not recorded and which King swears up and down was taken out of context.
Trump took on the entire establishment to get elected president. He showed how to defeat the fake news media. He refused to apologize for anything with the sole exception of the Access Hollywood tape -- which he reluctantly apologized for in an ISIS-style hostage tape just to please these losers. If the media wants to destroy you, they will lie about you constantly and they won't give the slightest damn what you do or say (unless they can use it against you). After their lies about the Covington Catholic students collapsed, they switched to falsely accusing them of "wearing black face":
No truer words were ever spoken than President Trump saying "the media is the enemy of the people." These people hate your guts and want to see you dead and yet you fall all over yourselves to placate them and apologize for existing. Until Republicans learn this lesson they're going to keep losing -- and they're going to deserve it. Follow InformationLiberation on Twitter, Facebook, Gab and Minds. |
