California Republican Rep. Duncan Hunter remains up in the polls amid an indictment involving him and his wife using campaign money for personal expenses.

Forty-seven percent of voters in California’s 50th District plan to vote for Hunter, compared to the 39 percent who want to vote for his Democrat opponent Ammar Campa-Najjar, according to a Survey USA poll published Monday. The results also show that 77 percent of Republican voters said they would still support Hunter regardless of the indictment.

The poll comes just days after Hunter and his wife, Margaret Hunter, pleaded not guilty in court, after it was reported Tuesday that the two illegally spent more than $250,000 in campaign funds on vacations and personal items. The two were using this money between 2009 and 2016, according to the Department of Justice.
