Creating a website to inform students which college courses are "post-modern neo-Marxist" brainwashing is "morally wrong" and amounts to "harassment," at least according to professors at the University of Toronto. From CBC: Psychology professor Jordan Peterson's stated plan to build a website aimed at reducing enrolment in university classes he calls "indoctrination cults" has drawn the ire of his University of Toronto colleagues, who say it will make them the target of harassment. This is professor A.W. Peet (real name Amanda):
She/he/xe said she is "not specifically targeted," and the CBC just ran with it as though she's an impartial observer. She considers herself "non-binary" and "transgender." At no point in the story does the CBC inform their readers of this fact. CBC continues: Peterson, who rose to fame in right-wing circles after his outspoken refusal to use gender-neutral pronouns, says he wants to use artificial intelligence to scour university curriculums for what he "calls post-modern neo-Marxist course content." "Women's studies, and all the ethnic studies and racial studies groups, man, those things have to go and the faster they go the better," he said. "It would have been better if they had never been part of the university to begin with as far as I can tell."They're actually the ones who want to harass Peterson. He just wants to inform students that their "physics professors" like Peet are going to use stories about their "non-binary gender" to teach quantum physics. In an interview with As It Happens last year, Peterson said the "continual careless pushing of people by left wing radicals is dangerously waking up the right wing."The CBC left out Peet saying Peterson's comments reflect a "scared, old, white man terrified of his increasing irrelevance." Note too, the CBC literally used "they" as this Peet's preferred pronoun. She also said his warning of a violent backlash is a "threat of violence." Peterson's idea sounds great and he should go full steam ahead. We need this in America and all across the Western world. UPDATE: Peterson put the program "on hiatus":
