During an interview with Maria Bartiromo released Tuesday on Fox News, President Trump said Syrian president Bashar al-Assad "is truly an evil person." Yesterday, Sean Spicer compared Assad to Hitler and said Hitler "didn't even sink to using chemical weapons," which triggered a huge sh*t storm. Of course, the outrage was not over Spicer ridiculously comparing Assad to Hitler for propaganda purposes, but rather the notion he was "denying Hitler gassed millions of Jews to death." "Putin is backing a person that is truly an evil person," Trump told Bartiromo, "and I think it is very bad for Russia, it is very bad for mankind, it is very bad for this world." "But when you drop gas, or bombs, or barrel bombs -- they have these massive barrels with dynamite and they drop them right in the middle of a group of people. And in all fairness, you see the same kids with no arms, no legs, no face. This is an animal," he said. The full interview was loaded with neocon talking points and warmongering against Syria and North Korea. Bashar al-Assad is not "truly an evil person," he's a ophthalmologist who somehow managed to unite the warring tribes within his country -- all of whom are deeply divided along ethnic and religions lines -- under a secular government. That's why the Christians in Syria are terrified of what's going to happen if he's overthrown as they'll be left to be slaughtered by ISIS and Al-Qaeda, who Trump is now supporting -- going against everything he ran on. We can be sure, just like in Libya, the media will ignore their slaughter and there won't be any dead babies on TV for Ivanka to cry about and demand Trump intervene. Just as Saddam and Gaddafi managed to hold things together in their respective countries to keep the peace, Assad holds his country together, and once he's gone we're going to see ISIS take over just like in Iraq and Libya. Trump knows this is the reality, yet he's clearly being blackmailed or threatened somehow into going along with this garbage, which you can tell pretty easily by the way his entire voice tone shifts when he starts lying about Syria. Of course, it doesn't actually matter either way, the end result is the same: more neocon wars and putting America last. Follow InformationLiberation on Twitter and Facebook. |
