CNN's Don Lemon is furious people are covering the bombshell report showing Obama's national security adviser Susan Rice "unmasked," aka "spied on" a slew of Donald Trump's associates during the election. "Let us be very clear about this. There is no evidence whatsoever that the Trump team… was spied on illegally," Lemon said on his show Monday, diverting from the fact the Obama administration changed the rules to make such spying legal. "There is no evidence that backs up the president's original claim," he said to divert from the new revelations. "And on this program tonight, we will not insult your intelligence by pretending otherwise, nor will we aid and abet the people who are trying to misinform you, the American people, by creating a diversion." Indeed, they'll only cover "diversions" about Russia, even though Adam Schiff admits they've come up with zero evidence to prove any wrongdoing after eight months. Lemon went on to interview four guests who threw out so many lies it's impossible to track. Perhaps the most blatant of them all was the claim this was about surveillance of "Russians." As anyone who read the reports in Bloomberg and Circa knows, to quote Circa, "most if not all [of the unmasked communications] had nothing to do with the Russian election interference scandal."
