Trump: Flynn 'Should Ask For Immunity,' This Is A 'Witch Hunt Of Historic Proportion'

President Trump said Friday morning on Twitter that former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn "should ask for immunity" if he's to testify before congress about Russia because he's facing a "witch hunt" of "historic proportion."

"Mike Flynn should ask for immunity in that this is a witch hunt (excuse for big election loss), by media & Dems, of historic proportion!" Trump wrote.



Flynn said through his lawyer Thursday that he would not "submit to questioning in such a highly politicized, witch-hunt environment without assurances against unfair prosecution."


Pat Buchanan commented on this ongoing witch-hunt earlier this week on Sean Hannity's radio show, saying how these Russian probes have been going on for "eight months" and yet DNI head James Clapper admitted they've come up with nothing proving any wrongdoing.



Just yesterday, some insane conspiracy theorist "intelligence expert" (see: deep state propagandist) named "Clinton Watts" said Marco Rubio's campaign was targeted by Russia.

Such idiocy is what passes for "evidence" and gets you before congress.

Rubio responded to his comments later in the day by saying hackers with Russian IP addresses tried to hack members of his campaign team:

“In July of 2016, shortly after I announced that I would seek re-election to the United States Senate, former members of my presidential campaign team, who had access to the internal information of my presidential campaign, were targeted by IP addresses with an unknown location within Russia,” Rubio said.

Rubio continued, “Within the last 24 hours, at 10:45 a.m. yesterday, a second attempt was made, again, against former members of my presidential campaign team who had access to our internal information, again targeted from an IP address from an unknown location in Russia.”

Rubio described both efforts as “unsuccessful.”
Having your server hit with Russian IPs means literally nothing. Russian and Chinese IP addresses try to hack into everyone's servers globally 24/7. Giant botnets are run in both countries which are programmed to try and guess passwords and hack into everything at all times. Wikileaks' latest Vault 7 release even exposed how the CIA disguises their hacking attacks to make it look like the Russians or Chinese are behind them. This isn't exactly a major revelation, everyone who knows anything is aware of this, that's why they don't jump to any conclusions over these matters.

Nonetheless, it looks like Marco Rubio wants to blame his campaign's failure on Russians just like Hillary did.

Did Russians make him act like a robot and repeat the same line endlessly during the debate?



Did Russians come up with "Little Marco"?

Did Russians hack the thermostats during the debates to turn him into a sweaty mess?



This whole Russian conspiracy is a giant hoax they've been dragging on for eight months simply to delegitimize Trump's presidency and keep him ensnared in endless fake controversies.


The next step is obviously to come out with fake evidence "proving" Trump is some Russian agent just like they faked the evidence Iraq had WMDs.

UPDATE: The Senate Intelligence Committee rejected Flynn's request, I guess they want to drag this on for another eight months.
