"Eddie... I Want HALF!"

This video making the rounds from Change.org is shockingly stupid and deeply offensive. Some immigrant workers are brought to America to work, and rather than try to create value for their employer, the local union goons teach them how to file suit against their employer for "exploiting" them, because as they say in this video, paying people something like $10/hr to pack boxes full of chocolate bars is "exploitation."

If they don't want to work there or are not up for the job, there's a really simple solution: Quit. You don't go around occupying their factories and keeping other people from working.

I'm reminded of the joke by Eddie Murphy about bringing an African woman to America to be his wife, but when she talks to all the other American women all the sudden she decides she wants a divorce... "EDDIE... I WANT HALF!"

If the immigrants only gripe was the J-1 visa program, I could sympathize, the state certainly fulfills Marx's exploitation theory, but Hersheys is not an exploiter for offering these people jobs.
