President Donald Trump on Monday said videos from the Kenosha riots last week show Kyle Rittenhouse was "trying to get away" from a mob before he tripped and fell and was "violently attacked" and he "probably would have been killed" had he not defended himself.
Asked by a far-left reporter whether he would condemn "vigilantes" like Kyle Rittenhouse, President Trump said: "Were looking at all of it, that was a very interesting situation, you saw the same tape as I saw.Just before this clip, President Trump condemned the execution of Aaron J. Danielson at a pro-Trump rally in Portland on Saturday night (an antifa radical is wanted by police in relation to the shooting), telling far-left media hacks the killing was done by "your supporters." As I reported last week, Rittenhouse's legal team said he was working as a community lifeguard in Kenosha on the day of the shooting, went to clean graffiti off a public high school near the Kenosha County Courthouse after work and did not carry a gun across state lines.
A witness to the riots who reportedly met up with Rittenhouse that night said he was "turned on" by the mob for helping put out fires.
All three assailants who attacked Rittenhouse have criminal records and his first attacker was a level 3 sex offender (meaning a high-risk of reoffense and a danger to the community) who was sentenced to over 12 years in prison for a sex crime involving a minor.
He racked up 42 infractions while in prison and repeatedly attacked his jail guards.
Video analysis from the New York Times found Rittenhouse did not fire the first shot. Follow InformationLiberation on Twitter, Facebook and Gab. |
