PSA: Being Hospitalized For 6 Weeks Will Cause You to Lose Steroid Gains

Why is the media refusing to acknowledge the viral photos of Mike Schultz's dramatic weight loss are reflective of getting off steroids for six weeks and not just being hospitalized with the coronavirus?


Might it be because they're full of s**t and just want to traffic in fear p*rn?

As he sat in his bed in a Boston hospital's coronavirus ward, Mike Schultz chatted with one of his favorite nurses about his treatment of being sedated and intubated.

"I thought only a week had gone by," he told BuzzFeed News.

That's when she let him know he hadn't been in the ward for one week — he'd been there for six.

[...] Last week, Schultz shared a photo of the toll COVID-19 had taken on his body to his 30,000 Instagram followers. The picture on the left was taken about a month before he first got sick. He took the photo on the right in a recovery ward. [...]

"I wanted to show it can happen to anyone. It doesn't matter if you're young or old, have preexisting conditions or not. It can affect you," [Schultz said.]

Schultz went to the hospital on March 16. Two days earlier, he'd arrived in Boston from his home in San Francisco to see his boyfriend, 29-year-old DJ Josh Hebblethwaite.
Actually, losing steroid gains cannot happen to "anyone," it can only happen to people who stop taking steroids for a prolonged period of time.

The situation will be much more dramatic if you're also put on a ventilator in a medically induced coma.

Additionally, all the data we've got shows old people are the hardest hit from this virus and the younger people are the more likely they are to experience mild symptoms or be entirely asymptomatic.

Hospitals for around a month now have shifted away from putting people on ventilators (because the data suggests they were inadvertently killing people en masse) in favor of oxygen and putting people on their stomachs, so the odds of other people going through this same experience is actually lower than ever.

The week before, the pair had gone to Miami Beach for Winter Party Festival, a circuit party that Hebblethwaite was working at and which drew thousands of people to the area for a week of events. Schultz posted pictures of himself smiling with friends and declared on Instagram he'd had a great time.

But as they danced, the people in attendance were unaware that the coronavirus was also present.

"We knew it was out there," said Schultz. "There were no real restrictions in place, though. No lockdowns. We just thought, Well, we gotta wash our hands more and be wary of touching our face."

At least 38 people who attended Winter Party subsequently became sick. Three men died.
It should go without saying, but it's not a good idea to attend giant orgies in the middle of a pandemic.

As a thought experiment, contrast the utter hysteria our media drummed up over Christians choosing to go to church in the midst of this pandemic versus the media's silence on these giant gay discos.

Every single Christian who downplayed this virus and then got sick or died had headline articles written about them suggesting they somehow "got theirs," yet we've seen no similar articles in relation to this "Winter Party."


I wonder why that is?

I wonder why BuzzFeed didn't include a single shot of the party -- which they described as a "dancing" event?

Incidentally, dozens of outlets ran this story and yet none of them even mentioned steroids.



Doesn't the public have a right to know what really happened here? I know steroids is a somewhat taboo topic but this is an issue of public health.

BuzzFeed is one of the publications which has been advocating for widespread censorship of social media in the name of fighting "misinformation" (the same writer actually shared an article pushing for Facebook to ban "anti-vaxxers" after tweeting this propaganda piece out) yet here they are pushing misinformation out to millions in the midst of a pandemic.
