Jack Wilson, 71, has been identified as the heroic security guard who shot and killed a mass shooter at West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement, Texas on Sunday. From NBC DFW, "Church’s Head of Security Says He ‘Killed an Evil,’ Not a Human in Taking Down Gunman": A gunman who killed two people during a North Texas church service was fatally shot within seconds by the church's head of security who says he feels like he "killed an evil," not a human. Wilson said he was head of security for the West Freeway Church of Christ and that he and other members of the church who were part of the congregation's volunteer security team were "not going to allow evil to succeed." Wilson in the past has owned a gun range, taught firearm safety, including members of the church's security team, and was a former Hood County reserve deputy. Here's his full post: Wilson is currently running for Hood County Precinct 3 Commissioner. He loves God, America and supports putting Americans First. The attacker was identified on Monday as 43-year-old homeless man Keith Thomas Kinnunen. Police described him as "relatively transient" and NBC DFW reported he had a criminal record spanning across several states. "Kinnunen is believed to have been wearing a disguise, including a fake beard, when he stood up, pulled a shotgun from his clothing and opened fire inside the church, killing 64-year-old Anton Wallace, a church deacon from Fort Worth, and 67-year-old Richard White, of River Oaks," NBC DFW reports.
