From MyFoxAustin:
A state trooper has been fired for performing a body cavity search on two women wearing bikinis driving back from the beach. She is the second trooper fired this year for cavity searches.

The search took place in Brazoria County just south of Houston.

Two women say they were headed back from a beach trip on Memorial Day of last year when a male Department of Public Safety trooper pulled them over for speeding.

Once stopped, the DPS trooper said he smelled marijuana. He searched the car and claims to have found a small amount.

He ordered a female trooper to come to the scene to do a cavity search. She searched both women inside a patrol car on the side of the road. By this time a male sheriff's deputy was also on the scene.

The female trooper has since been fired. The male trooper was suspended. The women involved are suing.
