President Barack Obama claimed ISIS was losing strength and was "contained" a day before the Paris attacks. "I don't think they're gaining strength," he told ABC's George Stephanopolous on Thursday, which aired Friday on Good Morning America. "What is true is that from the start, our goal has been first to contain and we have contained them." The president also said that despite not eradicating ISIS's top commanders, the U.S. was making "some progress." "...We've made some progress in trying to reduce the flow of foreign fighters, and part of our goal has to be to recruit more effective Sunni partners in Iraq to really go on offense rather than simply engage in defense." But a terror suspect arrested in Paris during the attacks claimed he was from the Islamic State and ISIS later praised the attacks on Twitter. "O crusaders we are coming to you with bombs and rifles, wait for us," an allegedly "contained" ISIS militant tweeted.
