That police officer has now been given a second chance thanks to a gang of costumed bureaucrats. Via the Toledo Blade: The criminal conviction of a former Ottawa Hills police officer seen on video shooting a motorcyclist in the back has been reversed and a new trial ordered, the Ohio 6th District Court of Appeals ruled Friday.Read the full article here. The prosecutors say they're going to appeal the reversal to Ohio's supreme court. Hopefully, if the case is retried the jury in his second case will give him a harsher sentence. |
