VICE News' Elle Reeve, her producer Lani Levine and their film crew were accused of "breaking and entering" into the home of 8Chan owner Jim Watkins on Saturday in the Philippines. "Elle Reeve with a filmmaking crew just broke and entered into Jim's bedroom and were ordered out of the property. Elle Reeve and her producer Lani Levine have now protected their tweets," 8chan wrote in a post on Twitter featuring surveillance images of the two and a cameraperson. "The Filipino authorities have already been notified."
"Just putting this out there in case they're planning, through @HBO and @vicenews, to use the footage they've obtained without permission or consent," 8Chan wrote in a follow-up tweet.
Both Reeve and Levine have their Twitter accounts on lockdown and appear to have gone dark. So far the media has ignored the story entirely. Follow InformationLiberation on Twitter, Facebook, Gab and Minds. |
