During yesterday's Democratic debate, PBS moderator Gwen Ifill asked about white people. Yep, you read that right. After both candidates talked about race relations, Ifill brought up white people and asked, “If working-class white Americans are about to be outnumbered, are already underemployed in many cases, and once study found they are dying sooner, don’t they have a reason to be resentful?”Clinton said she’s “deeply concerned about what’s happening in every community in America,” including many problems plaguing white communities like early deaths and drugs. |
