Feds Urged Police Not to Release Michael Brown 'Robbery' Video Police just released video allegedly showing Michael Brown committing a strong arm robbery of a convenience store shortly before he was shot. The video shows a clearly deplorable criminal act, for which the storekeeper I believe would have ever right to shoot Brown in self-defense. That said, the police officer who shot him was not aware the robbery had taken place nor that Brown was a suspect in the robbery, instead stopping him because he and a friend "were walking down the middle of the street blocking traffic," so the two incidents are somewhat unrelated. That said, if it is Brown on the video, which the family's attorney said it "appears to be," it's a damning testament to his character. |
