Congressman says he was assaulted during pat-down

by Brian New / KENS 5

U.S. Rep. Francisco Canseco said he was assaulted by a TSA agent at the San Antonio International Airport.

The Texas Congressman said the security agent went too far during a pat-down earlier this month.

"The agent was very aggressive in his pat-down, and he was patting me down where no one is supposed to go,” said Canseco. “It got very uncomfortable so I moved his hand away. That stopped everything and brought in supervisors and everyone else."

Canseco told the KENS 5 I-Team the agent said he too was assaulted when Canseco pushed his hand away.

9877 Please.... I lost my job at the airlines because of an over zealous TSA agent....
and all TSA does is cover up their own mistakes.
and...
NOT ONE LAWYER IN GEORGIA WOULD HELP ME.
not one.

No one would stand up for what is right.
All they want to see is a lot of $$$$$ or they can't be bothered.

AND THE KICKER IS.....

even the freedom of information act is a joke.
I'm still waiting 15 months later for my copy of the file.

They just ignore it, and don't bother.

Where is the country I grew up in?

The country is still here, the people are still here. We've just been left with the pitiful options of either moron A or douchebag B for our choices of Congressman, Senator, President, Judge, Jury, and Executioner. There's no longer options for reasonable leaders or sensible laws, because those people and ideas are not brought forth by the lobbyists and corporations getting to plunge millions of dollars into the pockets of politicians and ad makers, all so they can get their man elected and be able to put more money into it.

The country still exists. It's just been tied up, raped, and tossed into the back of a windowless van by greed and corporatism.
